Navigating Success

Sometimes as we pursue our dreams, our vision, someone will come along and say, “watch out for this” or ”be careful of that” or “this is what I know.” In these moments we must be discerning. We are often taught to recognize these messages as negative because they appear to oppose our vision, so we reject them. We call them distractions. We’ll say to them, “Devil, I rebuke you.” In these moments we should ask ourselves, does this person mean us ill-will? Projecting fears, pain, and angst? The answer is, most likely not. So what is their purpose in delivering the message? Perhaps the message is not a negative. Instead, it’s a warning from God, the universe, those that love you and want to see you succeed saying, “I see you are on the path towards success. Please watch out for that crater-sized sink hole up ahead. Or, there’s an avalanche in the north. Or, I just came from that direction. The bridge is faulty, find another way.” You can ignore these messages if you want and discover for yourself the rapid brush fire blazing in the east caused by a psycho killer. It’s your call after all. Experience the good, bad, and ugly first hand. Carpe Diem!!! Or you can take heed, discern, be wise, investigate, and find an alternative route, or take precaution/be attentive as you forge ahead. Take what has been said as an education. Again the choice is yours!
