Happy Resurrection Sunday
When we talk about God, we talk about Him as if He is some external figure rather than internal. Initially we may say, "yes I accept God INTO my life, I accept Christ INTO my heart." But before and after that moment we talk about and act like God is this external figure like Zeus or another human. In fact, we call God a form, a Him. We confine God to matter- a being and entity that occupies a single space. In so doing, we unconsciously limit the power of God, our vision or view of God, and we mentally and spiritually contradict the Word which describes God as being omnipresent. Since God is omnipresent then God is not matter and is not restricted to the definition of matter. God occupies matter, defines matter, created matter, is within matter, but is not matter. (John 1:1 states: In the beginning as [it were], was the Word, and the Word was God and the Word was with God." Remember this scripture as o move forward). Before God was labeled God, God was called "I AM." Exodus 3:14 says, "And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM." I AM. I say this to go back to my initial point as God being internal, within not without. Say your name in a sentence. Naturally, you'll being with "I am" and the you'll follow it with your name. But initially, "I am" precedes your name. In the beginning of the sentence are the WORDs I AM. That's powerful when you think of it. I AM is you. I AM is within you. In the beginning, mankind fell out of alignment with himself. Fell out of alignment with I AM. Mankind looked for God externally (without) and found nuthin. Man was lost. Disconnected. The journey of self-awareness, rebuilding that spiritual connection, that consciousness, is chronicled in the Old Testament and associated texts. When Christ comes in the scene, his objective, his purpose, his reason for being was to re-establish that spiritual connection, bring to consciousness I AM- that self-awareness, that reminder that I AM is not without. I AM is internal. I AM is you, within you. So on this resurrection Sunday, when we yell out the battle cries of the Ancients and Medieval warriors, that a man died for mankind, was publically tortured on a cross, sacrificed himself for our sins, fought valiantly against a wretched enemy, proved himself the unkillable when he was resurrected and walked out of that tomb, the General of Generals, God of gods, King of kings, and Lord of lords, consider the WORD and true power and presence of I AM. Consider I AM and why the resurrection was so pivotal to mankind realigning and understanding itself, the world, the universe, and the origins of all things. Stay tuned for more...
